About the Project
SEI, through its SUMERNET initiative, is committed to addressing sustainable development and water security in the Mekong Region. In partnership with global entities like NASA, ADPC, and USAID, SEI focuses on utilizing spatial technology to highlight and tackle environmental challenges exacerbated by climate change.
Toneyes Agency, a creative agency based in Bangkok, was tasked with enhancing SEI’s communication strategy by designing impactful graphic representations to illustrate the intentions and goals of SEI’s project, Dancing Rivers, thereby promoting sustainable and responsible research practices.
Strategy Book Design
Toneyes created a strategy book for SEI, detailing research and policy activities from 2020 to 2024 with fold-out pages. The design highlights SEI’s commitment to environmental sustainability and enhances readability with structured project data in a visually appealing layout.
Servir Flyer Design
Toneyes crafted a flyer for SEI’s Dancing Rivers project, featuring the satellite monitoring system for the Ayeyarwaddy River. Designed for environmental conferences, the flyer uses natural color schemes and digital visuals to showcase the system’s impact on river management and community protection.
SEI – MOOC Series
Toneyes developed motion graphics for SEI Asia’s MOOC on “gender and environment,” which educates on gender inequalities in environmental management. The course, structured in three modules, uses visuals to simplify complex topics like feminist political ecology and resource rights.
Sumernet Vision Guide Design
The Vision Guide, designed by Toneyes, defines Sumernet’s sustainability goals in the Mekong Region through 2028, with a cover emphasizing the river’s central role. Available on Sumernet’s website, this guide marks Toneyes’ continuous collaboration with Sumernet.
Sumernet Professional Brochure Design
Toneyes designed a professional brochure for Sumernet, integrating landscapes from Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam to illustrate the project’s regional impacts in 2018. The brochure features fold-out pages and a decorative poster that blends appealing visuals with informative project statistics.
Booklet Design
Toneyes designed the Sumernet 2018 Annual Report to combine visual appeal with informative content. This A5 booklet featured vibrant diagrams and a clean layout to present Sumernet’s research impacts on Mekong region’s sustainable policies, ensuring readability and stakeholder engagement.
SUMERNET – Website Design
Toneyes revitalized SUMERNET’s website, enhancing it as a key platform for showcasing sustainable development efforts in the Mekong Region. The redesign focused on intuitive navigation and strategic visuals to effectively communicate the organization’s mission and facilitate global stakeholder interaction.
